Fourteen years later, finally I was able to return to my homeland. As I stood in front of my family, tears filled my eyes. While I bowed at my mother's feet, love embraced me from all around. When I walked into our village I laughed and danced with those who were there. I sat on the rocks and listened to the birds sing. As I looked up to the mountains, my spirit was healed. As I drank that cold spring water, the past, the present and the future were all united into one. Once again I admired the simple life of our village and headed back to America to share the story with the rest of the world.

Dances of the Himalayan Angels
Every year towards the end of October, a Hindu festival called, Tihar arrives bringing joy and love between member of the families throughout the country in Nepal. During three day long Tihar festival all the brothers get Tika on their foreheads from their sisters and unite their spirits in peace, love and harmony.
During this festival, different ethnic groups of people perform different styles of dances throughout the country. This particular dance called, Deusaray, is a unique style of dance performed by Pun community in Pokhara, who originally came from Pun villages in Western part of Nepal. Throughout the dance you will hear improvised songs, which reveal love, respect, morality, dignity and joy of life. You will see the drummers and dancers move in a circle, which reflects the present moment of their spirits as well as the unity and love in all forms of life.
